Thai Massage in Kharghar

Assisted stretching and rhythmic compression, worked on a floor mat.

60 / 90 min

Thai massage at Sea Med Spa runs on a padded floor mat rather than a table, and there's no oil involved. We give you loose cotton pyjamas to change into, because the session moves your body through a sequence of stretches that everyday clothes would restrict. Between stretches, the therapist works rhythmic compression along your arms, legs and back using their hands, forearms and sometimes their own bodyweight.

It suits people who feel generally tight or stuck rather than sore in one specific spot, and anyone who'd rather move through a session than lie still for it. If you sit at a desk all day and want your hips and back to move more freely again, this tends to be a better fit than a table massage. Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes, and the longer version usually adds neck and scalp work at the end.

Nothing moves further than your own joints already allow, and the therapist reads your body throughout rather than following a fixed routine. Tell us the moment anything feels like too much and the pressure or the stretch gets adjusted.

Common Questions

About Thai Massage

Does Thai massage use oil?

No. It's a dry technique on a floor mat. We give you loose cotton pyjamas to change into so the stretches aren't restricted by everyday clothes.

How long does a Thai massage session last?

60 or 90 minutes. The 90-minute version usually adds neck and scalp work at the end.

Is Thai massage painful?

It shouldn't be. It's firm, and a deep stretch can feel intense for a moment, but it's never meant to hurt. Say something straight away if anything feels like too much.

Which Sea Med Spa branch offers Thai massage?

Both branches. It's one of Sector 7's signature specialties, alongside deep tissue, Balinese and Swedish massage, and it's also bookable at our Sector 11 branch.
